Knotted Root presents the Circular Lounge is an interactive experience rooted in exploration, spontaneity, and presence. What was once a dive bar from the late 1970’s, has been transported through time to bring the energy back to the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, off of the historic East Colfax Avenue. A haven for celebrities and musicians alike, this classic lounge truly honors that spirit with a modern twist. Some of the celebrities still even make appearances to this day during our occasional Spaghetti Saturdays.  

Beyond the vibrant history of the location, the space itself was curated to be engaging and familiar. There is a “movie room”, which will feature an array of rotating classic films and TV shows, projected on our collection of VHS television sets… which then opens up to a “Hallway of Mirrors” on one side, and to our “Disco Arcade” music room on the other.

Featuring classic games from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, this dark, cozy room is home to our own custom 58-disc jukebox. This work of art will be sure to keep you exploring the enormous amount of genres, artists, and custom artwork. Keep following the rainbow road and you’ll find yourself on our private patio, complete with a mini golf course, picnic tables, music, and a swimming pond! 

Once you’ve enjoyed some outside time soaking in the sun and bright lights of the city at night, head on into our spacious “Pool Hall”, featuring two pool tables, a comfortable couch corner, coffee table, and a classic version of Mortal Kombat . Finish him!

We have a bunch of tasty snacks, hot frozen pizzas, and are apart of a vibrant neighborhood filled with authentic cultural restaurants, all of which you are welcome to enjoy at our location. There are many local take out options such as gourmet sandwiches & burgers next door, tacos, grilled Oaxacan chicken, barbecue, Ethiopian, mediterranean, Moroccan, pizza, and more!

We also regularly host food pop ups, trucks, and host events such as bingo, vinyl nights, open mics, and more! To top it off, .we have a wide selection of gluten free alcoholic beverages, house brewed non-alcoholic beer, and real sugar sodas... something for bipeds of all ages!
